Black Reiver was proud to be able to advise the Government of Ecuador on the application and implementation of Extended Reach Drilling Techniques in order to preserve pristine areas of the Rain Forrest. These advanced drilling techniques now allow wells to be drilled from existing surface locations many kilometres away from the reservoir, this not only reduces environmental impacts can substantially cut field development costs.
Working in Collaboration with ITP and Merlin ERD the delivery of this important training program by Black Reiver has helped shape the future of development in Ecuador.
